MY SCRATCH JR

WALT: Create a basic game using scratch jr.

My Scratch

WALT: create a grid and code our characters to move.

First we had to create a grid. Then we had to insert our character into the grid.  I chose to use a winter theme with my man trying to get to his igloo. After that we had to put in obstacles to avoid. We had to use the scratch codes to help our character move through the grid.  I've never used voice recordings before which was interesting and new. It was important that we check with buddy or teacher before we found a quiet space to do a screencast of our mahi. I found it easy to use scratch jr.  Have you tried it? Have a go.  I hope my video has inspired you to                                                                                        give new things a go.

Riding My Motorbike

Riding my motorbike.

On a foggy sunday morning I could barely see my nextdoor neighbours house.“Wow its misty as” I said to my brother Hanita. My brother Hanita said to me, “Yeah man shhh can you hear that “ my brother said to me. Ohh and guess who it is, its my uncle Pat on my motorbike. So my dad got up he said to me and my brothers “Come on let's go and get this motorbike and your brother A-J’s one”. Firstly my brothers A-J, Hanita, dad and myself went to my uncle to get mine and my brother A-J’s motorbike.

After that when we got up to my uncle house he said to me, “Here boy start it up and go for a ride” so I went for a ride down my uncle’s driveway. When I got back up to my uncle’s house he said, “well now you can take it home now” and my uncle also said, “here boy I have some guards for you to take home for you”. So I went back down to my house and my cousin Mataroria was riding his yamaha 450 and I was riding my honda xr 100 and my brother A-J just got his new CR 85 2 stroke. Later on my brother Hanita and my dad went to town to dump the rubbish and get some riding gas.

Later on when my dad and brother got back from town I went for another ride on my motorbike and I was going fast as down the paddock I chopped down into second and my motorbike ringed out and the front tire started slipping and I fell off my motorbike. My dad said to me, “get up boy start it up and keep on going”. So I kept on riding my motorbike back to my house.

So after riding for a few hours I went for a shower and watched spider verse and that's all I done on the holidays.
